Reality check: The only real challenge in Leh is the altitude — take it easy the first couple of days and your body will adjust comfortably. No special fitness is needed for Leh, but the high altitude means travellers should move slow and rest well during the first 48 hours.

Who usually travels with Experience Co.?+
Across the 12 months ending 29 July 2026, our travelled groups were close to balanced, with about 55% women and 44% men. The median traveller was 34 and the median group had 9 people. That is a historical snapshot, not a promise about the mix on a specific edition.
What makes Experience Co. trips different?+
We design each edition around the destination rather than using a standard tour template. The usual rhythm is one or two experiences a day, with room to take the place in instead of rushing through a checklist.
Can adults of any age apply?+
Not every age. BHX and Bucketlist trips are for travellers aged 25 to 55. Our groups usually sit between the late 20s and early 40s.
Can I travel with a friend or partner?+
Yes. You can apply solo or with someone you know.
Ladakh — altitude and acclimatisation?+
The first 24 hours in Leh are slow on purpose — no strenuous activity, light meals, more water. We don't push high-altitude treks until day 3 or later. Pre-trip we send a packing list and a short medical-readiness questionnaire. If you have heart conditions, asthma, or are otherwise concerned about altitude, flag it on your application.
If I cancel, how much do I get back?+
Full refund if you cancel more than 90 days before departure, 50% refund 45-90 days out, 25% refund 30-44 days out, and no refund inside 30 days. This applies to the amount you've actually paid.
